Hi! My name is Eleanore. I am originally from New York but I’m currently completing my A-Levels in the UK. I’m passionate about computer science and enjoy taking part in competitive programming competitions in my free time. Through this magazine, I hope to create a community where women feel more confident in pursuing their passions in computer science, despite it being a male dominated field.

Hi! My Name is Chloe and I’m from the UK. I take maths, computer science and economics and I hope to take accounting & finance in university. I enjoy taking part in team projects such as Young Enterprise, so I am particularly grateful to have the role of administrate leader at Penrose Magazine. Through this responsibility, I hope to contribute to a space where writing is encouraged in the STEM community.

Hi! My name is Sasya Koneru, and I am a student from North Carolina. I am passionate about biology, specifically genetics, and hope to become a genetic researcher, counsellor, or genetic physician in the future. I am excited to continue contributing articles to Penrose Magazine and spread my passion for genetics.
Cadence
Hi! I’m Cadence, a 21-year-old student from Manitoba, Canada, currently completing the final year of my Bachelor of Science degree. My main area of interest is forensic science, and after graduation, I plan to continue expanding my education in that field. I’m especially passionate about exploring forensic procedures, historical case-solving methods (like those used before DNA testing), and sharing that knowledge with others. Outside of academics, I love anything creative; colouring, crafting, and finding new ways to express myself. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow my personal portfolio and gain valuable experience to strengthen my resume and qualifications.

Hi, my name is Rosalia! I am a student in the UK and hope to take my love for computer science beyond my time at school. I have always taken part in competitions in the subject, and through writing about AI, and fields that surround it, I have been able to discover how much STEM has started to aid our society and the humanities, empowering women along the way.

I am interested in Computer Science, and have frequently taken part in robotics/programming competitions both in and out of school to explore and build my knowledge and skills. In the future, I’d like to study a STEM-related course, and I’m excited to take part in the Penrose Magazine, through which I hope to spread more awareness and interest in STEM for other people.

My name is Patricia and I am a chemical engineering graduate with a first-class honours degree. Having transformed my own academic journey from struggling with grades to achieving excellence, I am now dedicated to creating engaging content to help other students succeed in their studies.
Kingston
My name is Kingston. I am from Malaysia and am currently in sixth form. While I don't study STEM subjects, I am very interested in evolutionary biology, with this interest stemming from reading copious amounts of world building projects. I especially enjoy learning about how organisms have evolved in relation to their local geography, inspiring me to look further into more obscure, exotic examples of animal physiology and behaviour. Part of my dream career is to become a concept artist revolving around fictional biology.

Hi! My name is Samuel and I’m an 18 year old gap-year student based in London. I will start Medical school next year and am currently very into lifestyle medicine. When I’m not studying, you can find me reading a book or listening to a podcast. In the future I’d like to be a doctor and work to improve national and global health systems to ensure everyone has access to the best standard of care possible. As an ambassador, I am here to support all medicine-based submissions and learn from the experience.

I’m Luciana and I am born and raised in Miami, Florida. My STEM interested span across all fields, including engineering, medicine, technology, and innovation. In the future, I would like to major in biomedical engineering, furthering my education and attending medical school to hopefully become a doctor one day. I would also love to further my education and knowledge in biomedical engineering, specifically in the sub-field of neural engineering, possibly getting a Master’s or PhD in the field. I hope to help and contribute to many people’s lives as I grow up and gradually find myself throughout the journey, and hope I can one day inspire others just how I am inspired by the people around me each day.

I'm applying to study Design Engineering at university, as I'm fascinated by the intersection between the creativity and the precision of engineering as a mathematical discipline. Outside of academics, I love exploring how everyday objects are designed and finding inspiration in the small details that make them work so well. I’m a student with a deep passion for mathematics. I love exploring both pure and applied areas of math, especially analysis and number theory, and I enjoy the challenge of proof-writing. I’m fascinated by how mathematics connects to the real world and helps solve problems in unexpected ways, from F1 to cake-cutting. I also enjoy coding and discovering how computer science and mathematics work hand in hand. In my free time, I love teaching others about topics beyond the school curriculum and sharing the fun, creative side of mathematics. In the future, I hope to study mathematics at university and pursue a career as a mathematician.

Hi I'm Zahra and I'm from East Midlands. I'm still not too sure about what I want to pursue in the future, but 100% STEM. I am deeply interested in space and how technology is revolutionising. I am also interest in medical research, like with the incoming of new weight loss drugs such as ozempic and manjaro, as well as new discoveries in areas like Cancer.

I aspire to become an intellectual property attorney, a career that perfectly fuses my love for STEAM and debate, while allowing me to protect the rights of creators and inventors. Outside the courtroom dream, I’m a martial artist, and my goal is to help build a world where women feel safe, strong, and supported. I believe no one should fear walking alone, and no one should have to fight uphill battles just to pursue their dreams, especially in male-dominated fields like STEM. Hi, I am originally from Bulgaria but have been living in the UK for the past 5 years. I am really passionate about math and physics as I want to go into an engineering degree later in university and I've always been fascinated by how these two topics can link to everything. I like reading a lot and am currently learning 2 extra languages. I'd say crafting and and coming up with ideas to materialize is kind of a hobby for me for how often I do it.

My name is Eve and I'm a 16 year old from Wales (UK), currently halfway through completing my GCSEs. I adore physics and science history. In particular, my favourite topic is nucleosynthesis, the process which results in the creation of all chemical elements in our universe! I've found a great interest in nuclear reactions, and hope to be able to study the topic in further education, along with taking part in the research about how the nature of the quarks and gluons within the nucleons influence the interactions.

Hi! My name’s Lara and I’m from Hertfordshire, just north of London. I’ve always loved maths and my love for physics has grown with that. I’m currently studying maths, physics and product design, and hope to do a degree in mechanical engineering in the future. In my free time, I love watching films (my favourite is daddy’s home 2), baking and reading. At the moment I’m trying to learn to sew, but it’s not going quite as well as hoped. I also like hanging out with my friends and walking my dog. STEM has always been my fundamental interest, and I hope to inspire more women and men alike to be passionate in it too.

My name is Lexi and I’m from Minnesota! I love learning about anatomy and biology. In my free time, I love to bake or cook. I also really enjoy helping others out in anyway possible, whether it’s through a project or clubs that I’m involved in. I am currently in DECA, Student Council, MHS, and many other various clubs in my school. With my interest in biology and anatomy topics, I am planning to go to college for a bachelor’s degree in biology/public health, and go to PA school to become a Physician’s Assistant.

My name is Archontia and I'm from Athens, Greece. From a very young age I have been interested in Maths and Chemistry, but my heart found it's path when I first saw the launching of Falcon 9 rocket. I knew from this moment that I wanted to build a rocket like that in order to reach the stars. I've been in school councils for 6 years, been school president for 2, and played volleyball for 8 years. I have written a book called "Rockets : The difference in the history of humanity", and I always wanted to be a part of a team that gets involved in STEM studies.
